GIVEAWAY   GUIDELINES

Teaching Annex hereby announces the commencement of a year long promotional giveaway to celebrate our phenomenal growth, running from 1st January 2024 up to 31st December 2024.

Exciting cash prizes of up to 50,000kshs have been reserved for participants.

In line with the advertisement campaign we reiterate that any individual may participate in the giveaway by registering for free as an instructor on our platform at teachingannex.com

A participant’s user account will serve as their sole identifier in regards to this event.

In order to ensure an orderly facilitation of events, all participants will be required to read through and understand the guidelines that will inform their participation and eligibility into the giveaway.

Rules of play.

1. 1. Download the instructor manual from the shop page (free).
   2. Create a short course on any topic consisting of a minimum of 1 lesson.
   3. Promote your course.
   4. Enroll people into your course(s).
   5. Win prizes (50,000kshs).

Requirements for entry:

1. 1. An instructor account.
   2. At least 1 course created for the duration of the event.
   3. At least 5 people enrolled into any created course.

Prize Breakdown

Teaching Annex affirms that all valid participants will have an equal chance of winning prizes upwards of 50,000 Kenyan shillings. The breakdown of prizes is as shown below and will be paid out to winners at the end of the contest.

1. 1. 15 students enrolled per beginner level course = 200kshs
   2. 15 students enrolled per intermediate level course = 500kshs
   3. 15 students enrolled per professional level course = 1000kshs

Course Breakdown

1. 1. Beginner level courses = 1-2 lessons
   2. Intermediate level courses = 3-4 lessons
   3. Professional level courses = 5+ lessons

Pricing Cap.

Any course made in participation of this event will be subject to pricing caps to maintain a fair play environment. Participants will only be allowed to create courses under the following price ranges:

• Beginner level courses = 20 Kenyan shillings
• Intermediate level courses = 50 Kenyan shillings
• Professional level courses = 100 Kenyan shillings

Prizes may increase depending on the number of students a participant manages to enroll as well as the course level.

For instance;

• 90 students enrolled into 5 beginner level courses will fetch any participant 6,000kshs in prize money.
• 90 students enrolled into 5 intermediate level courses will fetch any participant 15,000kshs in prize money.
• 90 students enrolled into 5 professional level courses will fetch any participant 30,000kshs in prize money.

Additional support.

All participants will have access to the requisite tools for the duration of the event. The platform however announces that additional content creation options are available for instructors and can be accessed by contacting the platform’s development team using the following email extension; [email protected]

Final Prize

The overall prize of 50,000kshs will be paid out in addition to individual enrollment achievements to the participant who has the highest achievements at the end of the giveaway.

Potential earnings

1. 1. Winner = 50,000kshs + individual achievements
   2. Eligible participants = 6,000kshs – 30,000kshs
